The delicious weather that has allowed a lot of outside playing this week.

Finally getting a lot of paperwork caught up on.

Hearing the little girl I watch during the day call me by my first name. She started yesterday. I’ve waited a year for her to do that! Better yet, seeing the expression on her face!

Making giant bubbles in the backyard with my little boy and watching the expression on his face!

Hearing that a friend from high school was flying back into town this weekend and spending the day hoping we’d get to see each other again after all these years. I spent the day reminiscing about crazy times and caught myself singing songs from Prince’s Purple Rain album all day.

Having a piano student of mine bring me a piece of dangerously sinful chocolate cheesecake to her lesson. She had been out to eat at Olive Garden with her mom and they brought me desert. She didn’t have time to order any desert herself, so I shared it with her and together we enjoyed a wonderful sugar high.

Coming home to a quiet house and realizing Jeff took Jordan and Justin to the football game and I would have two hours to myself–and the house was already clean–which meant I got to read my favorite blogs, and create this new page on mine.

I got to call Jasmine who is only allowed to have two 10 minute calls a week where she’s at. I didn’t have to share the call with anyone. Best of all, she told me 5 times that she loved me.

My family returning from the game and Jordan making me a plate of food to eat, Justin loving me up before going up to watch a movie with dad and me having a relaxing night to watch TV. I don’t get those too often and it was so peaceful.
