Need a Good Laugh?

Justin Heald’s first baseball game was Monday, June 8, 2009. He has such a good time playing the game, but if it gets a little boring, he’s very good at entertaining himself! I think he would actually make a very funny mascot! Watch how he the coach from the rival team tells him to concentrate on the game and watch the ball. He’ll shake his head in agreement and then go on to what he was doing. Also, funny is when he pretends to knock himself out with a right hook. He was oblivious to me shooting and despite the low resolution, the wind shaking the camera, my body shivering from the cold, and my laughing which shook the camera–you still can’t help but laugh at that funny little 5 year old!

***BTW–I see that after viewing it pops up 15 videos underneath–not sure how to take that off or if I even can and I haven’t had time to check their content. If I could just embed his video alone–I would, but I’m not sure how to do that yet. I just learned how to do this. See, you can teach an old dog new tricks. 🙂

P.S. I just watched one of the clips underneath Justin’s–use caution.

ohhhh, this is a good game. I can see he is “into” it. I would rather see a 5 yr old’s game than anything. We remember watching Taylor Proffitt when he was 5. We still laugh about those games. Honey says that you should always make these games. It will keep you giggling for years. things to look for: when they lay down on the field, When they have to call Mom to kiss their boo-boo, When they can’t talk to the coaches because they are “strangers”, When they have to call time out because someone has to go potty, When they run the wrong way, When they wonder if they are winning after you tell them the score but which number is better- a 7 or a 9? When they hug each other and fall down. I love when they watch their own legs run and forget to look where they are going. Classic fun. Hug that ball player for me.

NOW you’re finding the treasure!!! I loved that clip. It was the best thing yet you have sent out….thankyou for sharing…”How much more valuable you are than birds!” Luke 12:24
When we begin to see the eternal things, we then are able to turn these other things over to God to handle. We don’t have to “run it” ourselves. I like this poem from Helen Steiner Rice (remember her)

    Good Morning God
You are ushering in another day
    Untouched and freshly new
So here I come to ask You, God,
    If You’ll renew me, too,
    Forgive the many errors
    That I made yesterday
And let me try again, dear God,
To walk closer in THY WAY….
But, Father, I am well aware
I can’t make it on my own
So TAKE MY HAND and HOLD IT TIGHT
    For I can’t WALK ALONE…..copied

    Christina,
We love you dearly and want for you to find the “real treasure”.
ps: you made a real good choice today….love, aunt ginny

DEAR ONE, Encouragement to you today. GRACE all day..
We are cheering you on!!! We are all participating in cheering you on…..It is so wonderful to know that God is for us and not against us. He doesn’t get busy with His own life and happiness but His happiness is delighting in cheering us on and walking with us through our difficulties, pointing out the little guy on the ball field and the brisk morning air, the sound of the train way off in the distance and the sound of the hair dryer as your daughter dries her hair……….They are all reminders of Grace……He bestows on us daily…..There is no “shadow of turning in Him”…..He IS dependable. I just wanted you to know that we love you very much. “Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is! “…quote from Anne Frank ….it was just something I wanted to say…..Have a good day…..love, aunt ginny
